VC ANALYST (WORKING STUDENT; 20 HOURS) POSITION AT GRADUATE ENTREPRENEUR

About your role

Graduate Entrepreneur is looking for an enthusiastic VC Analyst (working student; 20 hours per week) to support the Seed fund investment team in the following tasks:

• Venture identification: Sourcing the right startups in the ecosystem that are a fit for Graduate and could lead to an investment in the long run.
• Outreach & screening: Outreach to ventures you’ve identified as promising, and scheduling and preparing introduction sessions.
• Deal intro: Pitching ventures you deem to be the right fit to Seed Fund team members, and together bringing these towards our Investment Committee (IC) to close the deal.

Graduate Entrepreneur Fund is a €58M early-stage venture capital fund, founded by 100 entrepreneurs from the Netherlands, that partners up with visionary alumni founders. It provides its companies with capital and support from an extensive network of +150 successful entrepreneurs and business leaders. To date, we’ve invested in +45 start-ups from a €9M Pre-Seed fund, led by a fulltime student board, and a €50M Seed fund, led by a team of 4 fulltime investment professionals. The Seed fund team is supported by 3 part-time Analysts.

About you:

• You have finished your Bachelor's degree from the Erasmus University Rotterdam, Erasmus MC, or TU Delft and will be enrolled in the university in the academic year 2024-2025.
• You are available 20 hours per week (2.5 workdays). We understand the need to shift around hours before and during exam weeks and provide the flexibility to accommodate this.
• Start date: January 2025
• You are passionate about entrepreneurship (and investing) and identify with our culture of continuous curiosity and purpose-fueled drive.
• You are able to work independently and are a big fan of learning by doing.
• You have an analytical mindset and the ambition to establish a steep learning curve.
