Who we are

At Hydryx, we’re turning landfills into climate solutions. Landfills are one of the biggest blind spots in climate tech. They leak methane, one of the most potent greenhouse gases, into the atmosphere for decades. We think that’s fixable.

Founded in 2023, Hydryx builds technology that makes landfill gas systems work like they should. We replace outdated, manual infrastructure with fully automated systems. Our platform combines on-site sensors, real-time monitoring, and an AI-driven control algorithm to capture more gas, reduce emissions, and generate clean power.

The entire stack is built in-house; hardware, software, cloud, and installed directly in the field. No assumptions, no black boxes. Just better control, better outcomes, and a real path to decarbonizing waste.

And honestly, the fact that this sector isn’t “sexy” is exactly why it’s so interesting to us. It’s overlooked, underserved and full of low-hanging climate wins.

We’re based in Amsterdam, scaling fast, and hiring. If you want to work on real-world climate problems, ones you can see, touch, and fix, come build with us.

Your role

You turn relationships into partnerships. You know how to position complex technology in industries that don’t change easily and you love that challenge. Your job is to identify where Hydryx creates the most value, build the commercial strategy around it, and make deals happen.

Responsibilities
  • Lead business development across Europe in the landfill and waste-to-energy sector
  • Shape and execute go-to-market strategies for our hardware & software product
  • Build long-term relationships with landfill owners and energy partners
  • Translate field needs into product direction together with our technical teams
  • Represent Hydryx with credibility and confidence in high-level commercial conversations
Who you are

You’re either:

  • Deeply embedded in the waste and landfill industry, with a proven network of decision-makers across Europe, and/or

  • A hardware & software business builder with a track record of taking new products to market and scaling them fast

You understand both the tech and the business. You know how to navigate complex B2B environments, and your results speak louder than your résumé.
