We are searching for a person that will take a leading role in our forming AIT team. This role provides close collaboration with the engineering team leads and the COO. If you're down for the challenge of developing a space engineering production lab, team, and practices, this is a call to you!

Your mission:

  • Develop and execute rigorous Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) procedures for spacecraft components and subsystems;
    • Management of assembly and integration of our products in house;
    • Conduct hands-on testing and troubleshooting of hardware, including environmental testing (functional, thermal vacuum, vibration, lifetime tests, EMI/EMC, radiation);
    • Customer delivery and hand-over;
  • Support the electronics design and testing of our products with the focus on manufacturability;
  • Play a key role in quality and product assurance;
  • Manage and improve AIT lab infrastructure, equipment, and processes;
  • Work closely with design engineers to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, providing a feedback loop to the design of our products;
  • Contribute to the development of test fixtures and ground support equipment;
  • Participate in the development and conducting of tests for the validation and flight qualification of our products.

What you bring:

  • 3+ years experience in hands-on AIT activities on complex electronic / electrical / electromechanical systems, like semiconductor equipment, satellites, astronomy equipment, flight simulators, aircraft maintenance, or similar;
  • Strong background in electronics design, production and testing;
  • Familiarity with AIT procedures, standards and good practices applicable to the sector (familiarity with ECSS standards will be considered an advantage);
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills;
  • Proficiency in data acquisition and analysis tools is very much welcome;
  • Strong attention to detail and meticulous record-keeping;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Experience with quality management systems that meet ISO9001 and production process frameworks (e.g., Lean/6 sigma) will be considered an advantage.

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary;
  • Hands-on experience with the design, manufacturing, and testing of space-grade systems;
  • Active and all-round participation in the operations of a NewSpace startup in the heart of Europe’s high-tech hub;
  • Subsidized company activities;
  • Flexible working hours.

About the hiring process:

  • 15-min phone call with Olek (COO)
  • 60-min in-depth technical interview with the engineering team
  • 30-min final interview with Marco (CEO)
  • Welcome onboard! 🏠

Studies have shown that women and people from unprivileged backgrounds are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Revolv Space, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
