About the Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Analog Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer to join our world-class engineering team. As part of our mission to build the world's best semiconductors in space, you will play a crucial role in designing cutting-edge space systems, with complete ownership of designing, verifying, and testing space hardware.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Mixed-Signal IC Design in SPHERICAL's agile-semiconductor environment
- Architect, design, verify, and test top-tier mixed-signal ICs
- Translate high-level system requirements into chip architectures
- Design and verify standard analog blocks at the transistor level
- Spearhead research and development in generative design techniques for faster circuit design
- Collaborate with the team to develop the design environment roadmap
- Set a standard for high-quality, principled design within SPHERICAL
- Support and inspire junior engineers
Required Qualifications
- Strong analog/mixed-signal IC design skills
- Desire to excel in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Ability to start projects from scratch
- Familiarity with Python programming
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding and affinity for software development
- Strong analytical skills for creating circuit models
- Project management skills in IC development
- GUI programming and design experience
