About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Analog Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer to join our world-class engineering team. As part of our mission to build the world's best semiconductors in space, you will play a crucial role in designing cutting-edge space systems, with complete ownership of designing, verifying, and testing space hardware.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Mixed-Signal IC Design in SPHERICAL's agile-semiconductor environment
• Architect, design, verify, and test top-tier mixed-signal ICs
• Translate high-level system requirements into chip architectures
• Design and verify standard analog blocks at the transistor level
• Spearhead research and development in generative design techniques for faster circuit design
• Collaborate with the team to develop the design environment roadmap
• Set a standard for high-quality, principled design within SPHERICAL
• Support and inspire junior engineers

Required Qualifications

• Strong analog/mixed-signal IC design skills
• Desire to excel in fast-paced, dynamic environments
• Ability to start projects from scratch
• Familiarity with Python programming

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding and affinity for software development
• Strong analytical skills for creating circuit models
• Project management skills in IC development
• GUI programming and design experience
